Battersea Power Station – Pop-Up Park & Chelsea Fringe Festival

Bringing a Historic Site to Life Through Art & Performance

In 2013, as part of the Chelsea Fringe Festival, Battersea Power Station opened its doors to the public for the first time in decades with a specially designed pop-up park. This temporary green space provided visitors with a unique opportunity to look, explore, and experience the site while it was still under construction. Pocket Creatives was engaged to curate and coordinate an artistic programme that would activate the space, engage the local community, and celebrate the site's transformation through art, performance, and environmental storytelling.
