Our Mission
Founded in 2012 by Lucy Bawden, a senior cultural manager with 15+ years of experience, we have worked across public and private sectors to create high-impact cultural programs and social cohesion.
Our goal is to foster stronger communities, celebrate creativity, and transform spaces into places people love.
Our expertise spans public art curation, community engagement, festival programming, and urban activation. Collaborting with arts organisations, charities, cultural and educational institutions, agencies, landowners, local authorities, commercial retail spaces, estate managers and private clients we harness the power of art to create meaningful cultural experiences.

What's in the Pocket?
Our name ‘Pocket’ originated from the saying 'in this pocket of the city’, referring to a special place, a neighbourhood, or community.
The word 'pocket' conjures up for us a sense of intimacy and trust, something personal and special, with the idea of closeness, being understood and belonging...
